Accomplishment

Recently, we have been working on the following transactions, among others:

• Tax advisory services relating to an extensive initial offering of bonds issued by a Czech entity abroad;
• Structuring of real estate investment in the Czech Republic amounting to tens of millions of euro via a fund of qualified investors;
• Preparation of transfer price documentation (documentation needed for stipulating prices between related entities) for a company producing and selling automobile components;
• Tax advisory services relating to creating a trust fund ("svěřenský fond") in New Zealand;
• Structuring of an extensive real estate project, which includes a hotel, residential and commercial parts, with the prospect of keeping or selling individual phases;
• Participation in founding the non-profit organisations Aspen Institute Prague (a prestigious worldwide non-profit organisation supporting education and the promotion of political trends), Zaostřeno, and other non-profit activities, with a total value of several hundred million Czech crowns;
• Tax due diligence during the acquisition of a residential real estate project located in Moravia, tax advisory services during the subsequent acquisition and cooperation with lawyers, and day-to-day tax advice related to the project, including setting up the financing and purchase agreements with the customers, suppliers and other third parties;
• Restructuring and simplifying of the holding structure of a Czech manufacturing company, including communication with lawyers during preparation of the underlying legal documentation;
• Proposal for acquisition of a real estate project with an estimated value of several hundred million Czech crowns and the entire restructuring of the current ownership structure;
• Tax advisory services provided to a company in insolvency and a proposal for structuring the entire re-organisation of the company;
• Structuring of a joint-venture investment of a Czech company to Russia using Dutch investment protection instruments.
